George House Trust
"Laura worked with George House Trust as our Volunteer and Development Manager and led on our volunteer programme strategy and development. Laura produced a really exciting volunteer programme which attracted a wide range of volunteers from across the community. The programme included training volunteers and supporting staff in volunteer management – embedding a volunteer culture within the organisation.
As part of her management team function Laura also led the organisation through the Investors in Volunteering accreditation process, enabling us to gain the Investors in Volunteering quality mark. This quality mark was beneficial not only to the organisation but also to volunteers ensuring that they could be assured of an excellent, well supported and fulfilling volunteer experience.
Laura also managed a range of externally funded projects with responsibility for design, implementation, day to day management and outcome management. In managing these project Laura utilised her skills around planning and strategy, managing and supporting people and collaborative practice.
Laura was skilful in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, working flexibly and enthusiastically both internally and externally."

Breathworks Mindfulness CIC
"Laura's work at Breathworks CIC has had a hugely positive impact for our engagement with volunteers. We started work with Laura having no foundation for supporting volunteers and are left having a team trained in volunteer management, clear policies and an engaging handbook and a much larger pool of volunteers who feel well supported in there roles and are able to give and grow in the organisation. Laura brings both a strategic approach and an attention to the practicalities of implementing a volunteer programme; she is a joy to work with, warm, friendly, capable and easily builds influence through the relationships she forms. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to other VCSE's."
Breathworks Mindfulness CIC
"Laura is as hard working as they come, and yet so fun to be around! She helped us put together much needed packs of information for our volunteers and support teachers. She also provided insightful, expert advice on how we could make the best use of our volunteers, all while volunteering herself! One of the most efficient, productive and joyful experiences I’ve had with a volunteer."
